Natural Language Import

Rapidly prototype by converting raw requirements into a visual schema (ERD) using TalkingSchema advanced import feature.

Planned Features​

You will be able to generate your ER diagram instantly from:

  • Natural Language Requirements: Just describe your system (e.g., "A global supply chain system with suppliers rated by carbon tier, products with emissions scores, purchase orders, and shipment tracking").
  • Unstructured Text: Paste requirements documents, slack messages, or email threads.
  • Jira/Linear Tickets: Upload your task descriptions to auto-generate the supporting data model.
  • Files & Media: Upload PDFs, architecture diagrams (images), or even voice memos (audio) describing your schema. coming soon

How it works​

  1. Paste your text or upload your files into our chat and write your prompt
  2. Our AI analyzes the input to identify intent and suggest an implementation plan inside the chat
  3. Approve the plan and TalkingSchema will generate an ER Diagram
  4. Review the generated schema in the ERD view and refine it with further prompts
